DvnMIDIMeter

  • Per beat accent control.
  • Input note velocity controls the depth of the effect for each note.
  • Dynamic knob for fine tune the output velocities for crescendos/decrescendos.
  • Range and Randomize knobs to adjust the dynamic range of the notes.
  • Input MIDI filter to process only the notes you want.
  • All parameters can be automated.

DvnKeyFilter

Give more expressiveness in your monophonic melodic lines with DvnKeyFilter!!

It's a low pass filter with the cutoff frequency controlled by key tracking and a second parameter "Expression" assignable to any midi cc (or disable it and use your DAW envelope).

Features

  • Low pass filter.
  • Filter "base" cutoff controlled by the last input key.
  • Expression control opens/closes the filter
  • Filter envelope controls (attack and release times).
  • Control the shape of the mapping of the expression with the Input Curve knob.
  • Input MIDI filtering to ignore keyswitches and midi channels.
  • Input gain, output gain and dry/wet knobs.
  • Peak meters for input and output.

How to use:

  1. First you need a midi track with an instrument
  2. Add the DvnKeyFilter after the instrument. DvnKeyFilter must receive the audio from the instrument and the midi data from the track.
  3. Automate the Expression control through your DAW automation or MIDI CC#1.
  4. Adjust the expression curve for each note or group of notes. Try for yourself the best values for attack/release and the shape of the automation. :)

Crusher made its way to my production routine, and SfxMaker is just a lot of fun and full of great ideas. Thank you so much!

Thanks! :D

MIDIMeter as an Audio Unit, please?

(+1)

Currently the Audio Units version is not possible because the framework I use still doesn't implement the SendMidiMsg method. :( https://github.com/olilarkin/wdl-ol/blob/master/WD...
At least I can compile a VST2 version for OS X in a few days.

Excited to try this out. I'm a fan of the BFXR so I'm sure this is a treat.

Thanks, I hope you liked it! :D
